Emmerdale twist: Sadie hides affair

Sadie King (Patsy Kensit) has decided to keep secrets from Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) following a one-night stand with Caleb Miligan (William Ash). The development comes in the upcoming episode of Emmerdale, which airs at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 4, on ITV1.

Sadie, who has been staying at Mill Cottage, planted cameras and manipulated the Miligan household over the past few weeks. She told Caleb that his wife, Ruby (Beth Cordingly), was an alcoholic and suggested Ruby was having an affair with Ross Barton (Michael Parr). Caleb believed the story and ended his relationship with Ruby, only to spend the night with Sadie.

When Caleb realized Ruby had not actually left with Ross, he felt mortified. He asked Sadie to keep quiet and assured her he still loved his wife. However, Sadie suggested that Caleb had been using her, creating tension between the two schemers. She eventually left the cottage but held onto the camera footage that captured their encounter.

Sadie met with Joe, who tasked her with finding evidence to use against Caleb. Joe holds Caleb responsible for the death of his daughter, Dawn (Olivia Bromley). Although Sadie had the necessary proof, she found herself conflicted about handing it over. The storyline reveals that she is beginning to develop romantic feelings for Caleb.

Consequently, Sadie resolved to withhold the evidence from Joe. She claimed that she and Caleb did not sleep together after all. This decision sets up a new dynamic in the Miligan household, as Sadie plans to use the situation to her advantage rather than giving Joe the ammunition he requested.

In tomorrow's episode, Caleb urges Sadie to move out of Mill Cottage now that the one-night stand is known. Viewers will see if Sadie complies with his request or stays to leverage her position. The episode also features Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) discussing wedding plans with her fiancé, Jordan. Belle notes Jordan's controlling manner during a meeting to organize their wedding.

Belle invited her bride-to-be, Caz, to share her worries, hoping to help her open up. Caz was shocked by Belle's comments and assured her that she and Jordan were happy. In a sudden change of plans, Caz fired Belle on the spot, leaving Belle surprised that she had misread the situation. The show is available to stream from 7 a.m. on ITVX or YouTube.
