Organizers of Love Saves The Day released a list of 25 artists on Monday who will perform at the 2027 edition of the Bristol-based music festival. The first wave of announcements includes Four Tet, Armand Van Helden, and Damian Marley. These headliners will headline the two-day event scheduled for the late May Bank Holiday weekend at Ashton Court. Tickets for the festival are set to go on sale on Friday, November 6.

The initial lineup reveal followed a marketing campaign that placed cryptic clues in various locations across Bristol. Festival attendees and music fans spent the preceding weeks attempting to decode these hints to identify which performers would be returning to the venue. The clues generated local speculation about the direction of the 2027 program before the official names were confirmed. This pre-launch activity allowed organizers to build anticipation prior to the formal announcement.

Four Tet will lead the lineup with productions described as genre-defying. He will be joined by Armand Van Helden, a house music artist known for tracks such as You Don't Know Me. Damian Marley, a Grammy-winning artist, will also perform, bringing a mix of reggae, dancehall, and hip-hop to the stage. Other international and national acts confirmed for the weekend include Groove Armada, who will play a DJ set, and Shy FX, a pioneer in jungle and drum and bass music.

The lineup also features rising UK garage artists Oppidan and MPH. Additional names in the first announcement include Saoirse, Alisha, and Sosa, who will provide house, techno, and underground club sounds. The drum and bass category is represented by Kings of the Rollers, Benny L, and Harriet Jaxxon. L.P. Rhythm and Jamback are also included in the initial group of performers.

Local Bristol artists and sound system groups make up a substantial portion of the first 25 acts. Eva Lazarus returns to the festival with a set blending reggae and jungle. Other returning local names include Dazee, Euphonique, Vixen Sound, and Firmly Rooted. The lineup also features Dancehall Generals and Dubtento Allstars. Organizers state that these artists represent the city's bass, reggae, and sound system heritage. SIS:DEM, Fluro, Sliq, Sufi, and 4Eleven round out the current list of confirmed performers.

Tom Paine, the festival director, noted that the diverse selection reflects the range of music available at the event. He stated that the lineup includes major names in techno and dance music alongside local talent. Paine emphasized that this is only the first announcement and that more artists will be revealed in the coming months. The festival is scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 29, and Sunday, May 30, 2027.

The full list of 25 acts announced so far includes Four Tet, Armand Van Helden, Shy FX, Alisha, Oppidan, MPH, Saoirse, Groove Armada, Damian Marley, Sosa, L.P. Rhythm, Jamback, Kings of the Rollers, Harriet Jaxxon, Eva Lazarus, Benny L, Dancehall Generals, SIS:DEM, Dazee, Euphonique, Fluro, Vixen Sound, Firmly Rooted, Sliq, Sufi, 4Eleven, and Dubtento Allstars. The event returns to the Ashton Court estate in the Bristol area for this year's cycle. The specific dates and ticket sale date remain fixed for the upcoming season.
