Adam Barlow, the lawyer played by Sam Robertson, will be seen covered in blood on the streets of Weatherfield in upcoming episodes of Coronation Street. The injury results from a physical confrontation with his uncle, Daniel Osbourne. The fight takes place on the Cobbles, the show's central set location.

The conflict stems from a disagreement over local property. Daniel, a teacher played by Rob Mallard, has campaigned to save the land currently occupied by Weatherfield High school. He submitted an article to the local Gazette to support the preservation of the site. Adam and his partner, Alya Nazir, have been struggling to hide their guilt regarding the land's status.

The legal firm representing Adam and Alya is secretly working for Idris Nazir, Alya's uncle. Idris is a businessman building a property empire by acquiring Weatherfield businesses. The firm is helping Idris behind Daniel's back in the sale of the school land. Daniel discovers this arrangement before the trip to the Cobbles, leading to an explosive reaction.

Daniel confronts Adam about the betrayal. He accuses his nephew of stabbing his own flesh and blood in the back. Adam attempts to explain that he could not afford to turn down the business from Idris. Daniel rejects the explanation, and the verbal dispute turns physical. The two men begin brawling in the street.

Ken Barlow and Amy Barlow witness the fight and are horrified by the scene. Tyrone Mitchell intervenes to pull the men apart. The altercation leaves Adam's suit ripped to shreds. His face and clothing are covered in blood. Ken and Amy observe the damage done to the lawyer's appearance.

Tyrone points out to Adam that he is due in court. The character notes that Adam cannot arrive looking like he has just completed ten rounds in a boxing ring. The physical state of Adam serves as a visual marker of the escalating tension between the two Barlow characters. The incident marks a new level of conflict for the family unit on the show.

The recent friction between Adam and Daniel has centered on multiple issues. Past disagreements included the 2017 storyline regarding the attack on Ken Barlow. They also clashed over Daniel's parenting style with his son, Bertie. The current property dispute adds a new layer to their ongoing family dramas and secrets.
