Lindsey Carl and Brandon Byrd exchanged wedding vows in Lot H at the Lincoln Financial Field on Monday evening. The ceremony took place during a tailgate event held before a Philadelphia Eagles game on Monday Night Football.

Garage Beer sponsored the event, which organizers called the "Tailgate Wedding of the Century." Vince Rizzuto, CEO of TrueFan Travel, stated that the company approached Garage Beer over the summer to organize the wedding. He noted that the Philly Pops also wanted to perform at a tailgate, leading to the combined event.

The couple, who currently reside in Chicago, described themselves as devoted Eagles fans. Carl said they found a local fan group in Chicago and frequently watch games at two specific bars. Byrd explained that their submission for the event featured a 90-second video centered on the pun "Go Birds," referencing their new shared surname. He added that the video highlighted their love for the team and their commitment to drinking Garage Beer for the rest of their lives.

The couple learned they had been selected as winners approximately two and a half weeks prior to the event. They spent the intervening time preparing for the ceremony. Carl wore a wedding dress paired with Eagles cowgirl boots. Byrd wore a green suit with Eagles socks and a feather pinned to his jacket.

Carl walked down a green aisle with her father to reach her groom. During the procession, former Eagles offensive lineman Jason Kelce and defensive end Beau Allen distributed beers to guests. Former Philadelphia Phillies infielder Shane Victorino officiated the ceremony. The Philly Pops brass band performed music before, during, and after the vows for the family and friends in attendance.
