Rock Lititz provides production crews with facilities to test equipment and build complex stages before major concert tours begin. The campus, located about 9 miles north of Lancaster, operates as a central hub for the global touring industry. It houses companies that handle lighting, sound, special effects, and automation for live entertainment.

Kelly Camp, director of studios and campus at Rock Lititz, described the site as the unofficial headquarters of global touring. The facility allows artists and their teams to assemble show elements before they travel to venues worldwide. The campus supports the intricate logistics required for modern live performances.

The history of the site ties directly to the region's role in entertainment. Lititz has long served the touring industry, with vendors operating in the area for decades. Camp noted that Rock Lititz joined an existing ecosystem of production services. The campus has become a standard stop for tour crews preparing for international routes.

The flagship facility, Studio One, opened in 2014. The space covers 30,000 square feet and allows production teams to combine staging and equipment. Camp explained that artists often require a long period on site to complete their shows. The complexity of these productions necessitates dedicated time for assembly and testing.

Camp said the campus hosts about 40 companies that support touring productions. This concentration of businesses creates a unique environment for creative work. Artists use the space to finalize choreography and test rigging systems. Camp observed that performers often face their fears and expose themselves to new risks during this phase.

Rock Lititz does not publicly confirm which artists use the facilities. Singer Shawn Mendes has posted on Instagram that he spent time on the campus. Rumors have also linked Taylor Swift to rehearsals at the site. The company keeps its client list private to maintain focus on the production process.

The campus continues to serve as a preparation ground for upcoming tours. Production crews use the site to refine their technical setups before heading out on the road. The combination of space and specialized vendors makes Lititz a key location in the entertainment supply chain.
