Shoppers in the United Kingdom now have access to a wider array of clothing and home goods in their local supermarkets, with prices ranging from £8 to £100. Major chains including Sainsbury’s, Asda, Tesco, and Marks & Spencer have stocked their autumn collections with items that mirror trends typically found in dedicated fashion retailers. The expansion includes footwear, coats, dresses, and decorative home accessories.

Sainsbury’s private label, Tu, has introduced a pair of zebra print pony-leather blade heel boots priced at £55. The boots feature a heel height designed for stability during evening wear. The same brand offers wrap-front balloon leg trousers for £26. These trousers are described as suitable for both professional settings and casual weekends, offering a tailored silhouette without a higher cost tag.

Asda’s George brand is targeting the festive season with a black lace velvet long-sleeve midi dress. Priced at £30, the dress is intended for party occasions. George also carries a tan suede-effect funnel neck biker jacket for £38. The jacket features a high-neck design to protect against cold weather and is sold at a price point below many traditional leather alternatives.

Tesco’s F&F line includes a wool coat with a faux fur collar and belt, available for £59.50. The coat has large flap pockets. The F&F Active sub-line offers a wrap-front cardigan with added stretch for £22.50. This item is marketed as a layering piece for use after workouts or as casual outerwear.

Marks & Spencer is selling a satin polka dot mini pencil skirt for £32. The skirt is available in petite, regular, and tall lengths. M&S also stocks a dappled effect scalloped wall mirror for £100. The mirror includes metal hanging fixings on the back, allowing it to be mounted immediately after purchase.

Home goods are part of the expanded inventory. A brown confetti-effect glass reed diffuser from Habitat is available for £20. The 500ml bottle contains a scent blend of pepper, cardamom, vanilla, and smoky wood. It arrives ready for use with reeds included. Asda’s George brand also sells a set of four Christmas scene side plates for £8.

A leopard print tote bag with frill trim from George is priced at £15. The bag is positioned as an everyday accessory that pairs with standard clothing items like jeans and coats. Retailers are promoting these items as alternatives to specialized fashion stores, aiming to capture shoppers who are already visiting supermarkets for food purchases.

The current stock includes specific items for the upcoming holiday season. The M&S skirt and the George side plates are both categorized for festive use. The F&F faux fur coat and the Tu boots are targeted at colder weather and evening events. Prices for the featured items remain fixed, with no reported discounts or sales events scheduled for the immediate future.

Customers can find these products in the non-food sections of the respective stores. The Tu boots and trousers are exclusive to Sainsbury’s. The George dress, jacket, and plates are found in Asda locations. The F&F coat and cardigan are sold in Tesco stores. The M&S skirt and mirror are available in Marks & Spencer outlets.

The retail strategy relies on the convenience of combining grocery shopping with fashion and home decor purchases. The items listed are currently in stock across the UK chains. No new lines beyond the autumn and winter staples mentioned above have been announced for the next quarter.
