Edward Eisenhard, a 38-year-old man from Springfield Township, is being held in Bucks County jail without bail after being accused of three separate sexual assaults. District Attorney Joe Khan described Eisenhard as a highly dangerous recidivistic sex offender during a briefing on Tuesday. Khan presented details of the three cases, which involve allegations against two women and one child.
One of the alleged incidents took place at Valley of Fear, a haunted attraction in Lower Southampton Township. Khan stated that Eisenhard worked as a supervisor at the venue. During his lunch break, he allegedly approached a female employee, who was 38 years old at the time, and pinned her against a wall. Authorities say he choked the victim and touched her against her will until his break ended. Eisenhard has been charged with strangling and sexually assaulting the woman.
The second case involves a 19-year-old woman who worked at a Five Below store in Souderton. Eisenhard was arrested on Oct. 1 in connection with this alleged assault. He worked as a manager at the store. The victim told authorities that Eisenhard directed her to clean the stockroom. While she was working, he allegedly made lewd comments, restrained her, and indecently assaulted her.
The third alleged assault involves a 12-year-old girl in Springfield Township. Prosecutors say Eisenhard assaulted the girl in December of last year. They also allege a second assault occurred around the time of his arrest in the Five Below case. Eisenhard previously served as a volunteer firefighter, according to authorities.
Magisterial District Judges Daniel Baranoski and Gary Gambardella denied bail on Wednesday. The judges granted the district attorney's request, stating that the safety of the community cannot be protected with conditions on the defendant due to the multiple cases. The district attorney's office is now asking anyone who may have been victimized by Eisenhard to come forward. Bucks County Detectives can be reached at 215-348-6345.
Khan said the office is a safe place where victims will be heard. The three cases are currently being pursued by prosecutors. Eisenhard remains in custody as the investigation continues into the allegations spanning the past year.
